The UM Gators PCB was formed by Coach Hawkins and the UM Gators Executive Board to serve as the voice of the UM Gators Nation parents, players and families.

Mission Statement:
The Upper Marlboro God’s Anointed Team On the path Of Righteousness for His name Sake Parent Council Board (PCB) is a volunteer-based group of parents whose primary role is to represent the voices and needs of the UM Gators Nation family. PCB's 12-member board will work in collaboration with the UM Gators Executive Board to carry out the goals and objectives of the organization.
PCB's primary roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Acting as a liaison between the coaching staff and UM Gators Nation parents.
- Providing tutoring services for UM Gators members by providing resources and information to its members.
Offering opportunities for tutoring by staffing a homework tent during football and cheerleading practices.
Coordinating fundraising efforts through community engagement activities.
- Developing and implementing a community outreach plan that includes events and activities to raise awareness about the UM Gators organization.
- Seeking funding opportunities to enhance, promote, and support the mission of the organization.
Vision Statement:
- Help UM Gators members succeed through academic excellence.
- Strengthen and support UM Gators families by providing a positive environment that will impact the lives of our youth.
- Build self-esteem, character, leadership skills, social skills, and team work towards a stronger community.
- Strengthen the community by creating opportunities to bring youth together for sporting events, field trips, tournaments and other community related activities.
- Create an environment for peer-to-peer mentoring.
- Promote a healthy mental and physical life-style.

As you know, starting and operating such a program takes time and money. Our funding will be dependent upon the contributions of local businesses and individual donations, along with registration fees. However, our goal is to keep the registration fees affordable for all, and this is how your sponsorship money will make up the difference needed to provide uniforms, equipment, supplies, trophies, snacks, water, and travel-related expenses once the season has started.
